A KCP Open Show is an educational, non-championship event to encourage participation and provide practical learning for exhibitors, handlers, stewards and aspiring judges.
Open Shows do not carry championship status. No CACs, CACIBs, championship points or official titles are awarded.
Classes
Judging commences with males, followed by females; the same class structure applies to both sexes.

Eligibility & Entries
- Open only to dogs between 3 and 12 months of age.
- Maximum 50 dogs, first come first served; no entry fee; entries close automatically at the limit.
Placings & Awards
- Dogs are placed First to Fourth by merit; the Judge may withhold any placing.
- No CAC, CACIB, championship points or titles. Participation certificates or rosettes may be presented.
Judge Training
- May be used as practical training for trainee judges under an approved mentor.
- Experience gained may count towards the KCP judge development programme.
KCP Points System
Results are recorded for reference only and do NOT contribute towards championship titles, the KCP Points System, Hall of Fame or Dog of the Year rankings.
